Wild Pidgeons
It is a species that has become a native of Romania. It is an interesting species to hunt, flying somewhat slowlier, favourable to practice shooting at the beginning of the hunting season. They are very numerous in the area where we organize the hunting. During the periods appropriate to this type of hunting, a minimum 12 - 15 pigeon / day / hunter can be shot.
The best hunting method is represented by the still-hunting at the passage zones, from localities towards the fields. To hunt by shotgun with small shots of maximum 2,0 - 2,5 mm.
